Hi I hope this is in the right category it's my first time posting here. A few days ago my sound blaster z stated giving me problems. It no longer played audio in game, and it also doesn't play any sound when I tweak it in the Sound Blaster Control Panel. The odd thing is Windows can play audio just fine. I can even go to playback devices, hit configure then click on specific speakers and they will sound. If I do that in the SB Control Panel no audio plays. Since then i have rolled back and forward the audio drivers to no avail. What really perplexed me was during one of the times I rolled back the drivers I used the included driver disc and the audio returned. Disturbed but not wanted to miss an opportunity to game i played a few rounds of BF4 then went to sleep. The next day the audio issue resumed. I tried the same fix to no success. I've reinstalled Windows 10, and even tried Windows 8.1 but so far I haven't met success. I built this computer to play games and watch tv shows/movies (I know very lame) and this issue is starting to get very old. I look forward to all the advice, and thanks in advance!
